El Salvador

The El Salvador mission trip is all about evangelism, encouraging sister churches, and reaching out to the community by providing medical clinics in rural areas. This trip typically lasts 10 or 11 days in late July.  We partner with Iglesia Bautista Nazaret in Santa Tecla (pastor Hugo Rodriguez).  We have assisted with church planting in various areas (Zaragoza, San Antonio del Mosco), and now we are focusing on a mission area in a place called Opico.  Our goal for HBC in El Salvador missions is to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ, help plant churches, and minister to people by way of medical clinics in areas with little access to regular medical care.

In July 2024, about 250 people were served in medical clinics and during our time in El Salvador, about 30-40 people trusted in Christ!  Every year we have some different ministry opportunities, but examples of our mission work include school visits, leadership training, medical clinics where both physical and spiritual needs are met, door-to-door evangelism, and church services in various contexts. We share the Gospel everywhere we go in El Salvador!  Our HBC team has long-standing partnerships in El Salvador and we are always reminded that we have brothers and sisters in Christ all over the world!
