What is a Missional Community?
They are the primary way we make disciples at HBC.

HBC currently has active missional communities in Hazelwood, Florissant, and in St. Charles County. Their primary function is to build relationships with each other, their neighbors, and within the communities where they live. Through these relationships, we find opportunities to share the good news of Jesus Christ and encourage one another in our daily walk.

Questions & Answers

The point is building relationships both inside and OUTSIDE your group! You will study the Bible together, you'll eat together, you'll pray together, and you'll be on mission together. In addition to Bible study, prayer, and fellowship, your MC should actively discuss how to share the hope of the gospel with your neighbors, community, and others in your lives.

No, but we do want you to fellowship with us. If you're willing to join us on Sunday mornings for worship and engage on mission for Jesus Christ in your community, then you are welcome to join a Missional Community.

Each group will decide how often they meet and where. Ideally, you would meet more than once per month. You should plan to meet in someone's home. One member of your MC may choose to be a 'host home', or you could rotate. It's up to you!
