The El Salvador mission trip is all about evangelism, encouraging sister churches, and
reaching out to the community by providing medical clinics in rural areas. This trip
typically lasts 10 or 11 days in late July/early August. We partner with churches in
Ciudad Barrios and Santa Tecla, with the goal of spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ,
helping plant churches, and ministering to people by way of medical clinics in areas
with little access to regular medical care. Every year we have some different ministry
opportunities, but examples of our mission work include school visits, leadership
training, medical clinics where both physical and spiritual needs are met, door-to-
door evangelism, and church services in various contexts. Our HBC team has long-
standing partnerships in El Salvador and we are always reminded that we have
brothers and sisters in Christ all over the world!
