I grew up outside of Chicago (Go Cubs!) but went to high school in the Kansas City area and college at Truman State University. I met my husband, John, at our previous church and we were married in 2003. We have two daughters, Sarah (2005) and Leah (2008). We homeschool our girls and they are very active in dance and musical theatre with a local homeschool group. We love to travel, camp, watch movies and spend time with our family.
We have attended HBC since August 2012 and I have been a secretary since January of 2016. In September 2017 I also took on the role of Finance Secretary. In addition to serving in the office, I am also involved in the Food Pantry, Wednesday Night Dinners, Lifelines and Women’s Ministry. My husband is active in various ministries and our girls are active in the Youth Ministry here. We look forward to seeing where God is leading us as a family and HBC in the future and pray he uses us for His glory.
