Jeremiah Emanuel

I've lived in St. Louis my whole life, eating plenty of toasted ravs and supporting the

Cardinals and Blues since I knew what sports were. My family started going to HBC

when I was in 6th Grade, and I created many lifelong memories in HBC's youth

group. Going to Winter Retreat and Super Summer are some of my favorite things

we participated in as a group. I also got the opportunity to be the youth intern for

three years, two of them while in college. So it was cool to see the growth that

occurs in the youth group from the outside looking in. I began serving on the

church's praise team when I was a sophomore in high school. During that time, I had

the chance to grow as a musician and as a worship leader. I knew I felt God's calling

to go to school for Worship Leadership in my senior year of high school. I never had

a doubt about what God was wanting me to pursue in my life. So now I am in my

final year of a BA in Worship Leadership at Missouri Baptist University. Dave and I

have been working together for the past year, and we are excited to continue

leading the church in worship through music and plan services that glorify our Lord

and Savior, Jesus Christ. I am excited to see what God has in store for HBC and the

community in Hazelwood. May God bless you in everything!
